2001 Seadoo Speedster oil light problem?

2001 Seadoo Speedster oil light problem?

I have a 2001 Seadoo Speedster, just recently when i turn the key to the on position the oil indicator light will come on solid and will beep steadily. (boat not even running). The oil tank has about 2 gallons in it. and usually if it is low oil, the red light will flash and beep on and off.

Anyone have any idea what is causing this?
