Kawasaki Jet Ski 1996 Troubleshooting?

It ran great, then we took it out and got some rather large rocks in the impeller, got cleared out. Now when you go to start the engine it just makes a clicking sound. I dunno much about jet skis, i am a motorcycle guy. thanks
