My SeaDoo Speedster will not turn over.?

My 2001 Seadoo speedster won't turn over....it clicks when I turn the key but it won't even try to start. It did this for a while and I needed to turn the key about ten times before the clicks turned into a couple short fires, and then it would start. Now I get nothing......I have no idea what it is. HELP?

take out the spark plug and rub it with sandpaper to get the carbon (black stuff) off of it. since its pretty old that would be very likely that its the reason wont start.

Sounds like a battery problem possibly....take the spark plugs out and see if it turns over then with no compression....may be a hydraulic lock....hard to diagnose over the Internet
