Where can I rent a jet ski in Brisbane or Gold Coast Australia?

I'm currently living in the gold coast, (i moved here about a month ago), and i'm really surprised to find that no one runs Jet Ski rentals on the beach. The only thing I could find was this odd thing called "Jet Ski Safaris" but you just jet ski around with a group and follow the crowd, that's so lame. I want to find a place not far away where I can rent a jet ski for like an hour and just have fun with it in the ocean? Where in Gold Coast or Brisbane does someone or some company run jet ski rentals on the beach?.. or even like a bay? anywhere around here???
