They are all good choices, they have different features, depends on what suits you. I prefer the Sea Doo's. When you let off the throttle you can still steer them. The other's I have been on were only able to steer while throttling.

alscort is right, they're all pretty good these days, it's just a matter of finding the size and features you want. (I have a Yamaha XLT1200) If you can afford it, the new 4-stroke engines really make them quiet and nice to ride! As they become more popular, the older 2-strokes (sound like a chainsaw) will get cheaper and cheaper. Keep in mind, if you want to use it for something like pulling a tube or a skier, you may have to get a 3 person unit because of laws that require you to have a "watcher" for the person being pulled, plus, you have to have seating for every person in the water (meaning you, the watcher, and the skier). There are lots of goofy laws about waverunners, depending on where you live. Be sure to look into these so you don't get a ticket for doing something fun that somebody once killed themselves doing!
