If your lookin for power, I would recommend the 2 stroke Yamahas. They are ridicouslly fast with ungodly hp (the 1300 gpr in particular). Only down side is that you constantly have to add 2 stroke engine oil with gas. If your lookin for a great stable cruising (also fast) ski, go with the sea doos. Make sure that there is tech support in your area. We go through about 3 skis a year at my job because we eithier crash them or wear and tear. We log around 14 hours of operation weekly on all our skis which is way beyond the normal operational expectancy.Good input from sumting.... We removed the catilitic converter module, installed racing intakes, and added a nose piece to keep the front in the water. We got the seedoos (3 seater) up to 59mph and the yamahas up to 68mph. We usually use it on open ocean.
