...be some answers to this? I have checked the battery and sorts and i have full power. I also **pass the solenoid and it will turn over. But just pressing the button will not. Wires and all seem good. Is there anything else I should check?

Engines generally lose power due to timing, mixture, and weak spark. First guess, timing. Got a timing light? Next, this is easy, check the spark. Fat and blue? Or short and yellow? If it's mixture, the carb should be checked. What does your nose tell you? How does it sound? Good luck.

I would check the fuel filter, if your motor isn't gettin enough fuel it will sputter when acclerating. Or, there could be oil seeping through the rings which means you have BIG problems. The above answer is also a good one.
