It depends on how much maintence and care you put into it. If you always ride it and never really care for it when putting it in storage in the long run it will cost a lot. However, if you are constently taking care of it than it won't seem like a lot. Keeping like new is always the best way to go.

I bought a 97 Sea Doo GSI 4yrs. ago and I haven't done a thing to it. It runs great! I called the Sea Doo dealer where it was bought and they told me to bring it in for a check up when I put on about 45 hrs. of running time. For me, that won't be for a while. I do keep it clean, store it in my garage, and follow general maintenance like making sure there is enough oil and keeping it ventilated, that's about all. It's been a great machine!
