Default Damage to PWC ** being upside down?

Went out on the seedoo and turned a bit quick, lost balance and fell off. The seedoo flipped over upside down in the water. The ignition key did not come out, but when I got my wits I pulled it to stop the motor. My fellow jet skier came over and helped me flip the seedoo back over. Best estimate the seedoo was upside down for 30-45 seconds. The jet ski started right up and ran well the rest of the day, and we thought nothing more about it. We tied them too the dock overnight (did not pull them out of the water) The next day we took them out again and was running well and about an hour into our fun as we were getting ready to come back to shore for lunch, it just completely died. Lost all power and would not start again. Did being upside down the day prior cause some problem? Or is it possible the two are unrelated. We just bought these used in March and was our first weekend out with them. They had plenty of gas/oil, and were ready to go.The repair shop is stating the engine and impeller need to be replaced. We were out in an 13 ft deep open lake and did not get near stumps/or other debris. Did we cause this damage ** flipping it over?TIA

Being upside down would not have caused the issue. If it was an issue it would have caused it then not the next day. Typically when you turn one over, if you leave it to long it can **** water into the engine and you have to take the plugs out to pump the water out of the engine for it to start again.
