Anyone have opinions on snowmobile use in Yellowstone Park?

There are those who believe that snowmobile use in Yellowstone Park has no environmental impact on the air quality or the health and well being of the wildlife there. Of course, those who believe that and protest against snowmobile bans or regulation are the ones who spend thousands of dollars on snow machines and gasoline riding these things through the park all winter long. It seems to me that they are more interested in their own fun and frolick than what they're doing to the surroundings.
