Default what should i fix/replace if my snowmobile is having troubles starting?

my ski-doo is a 1997 and is having troubles starting up again

Start with sparkplug, Some plugs just won't start engine, however if you have engine warmed up, they may work just fine! Worked in timber industry 50 years ago, always carried a carton of sparkplugs along when working, - first thing tried was a new plug, if it didn't start,- then we hunted for other things. Assuming your spark is ok. Electeronic ignition coils are a whole lot better at proving a good ''hot spark "than the old "breaker points type"!

Also you might check to make sure the choke is going all the way on! If it is not closing all the way, - you might not be getting enough gas pulled in to make engine "ignite mixture".
