I have a major bruise on my leg from a snowmobile accident - Please respond!?

I was snowmobiling last night and took a turn to quickly and was thrown from a snowmobile going 50 mph. I have a few small bruises but one LARGE one on my inner thigh that is 14" x 14" - the bruise showed up within 5 hours and I am concerned that it may be more than a bruise - does anyone know about the extent of bruising and if there could be additional damage?
